Current Zoom Recordings List

Restorative Yoga – 60 minute recordings of the weekly Restorative Yoga classes are now available. Restorative Yoga is a practice of deep relaxation that helps calm the nerves, heal the body and rejuvenate you when you feel depleted. Weekly, biweekly or monthly deep relaxation will help you navigate the rest of 2020 with more grace (trust me!). If you have two yoga blocks, two blankets, two bolsters and and eye pillow at home you are ready to go. Email jessie@ for prop substitute ideas.

Gentle Yoga:

  • Gentle OR Slow Flow Dolphin & Tree Flow – I have recordings available of this great full body class at beginner and intermediate levels. Focusing on Dolphin and Tree poses provides a little something for the whole body – balance work, hip opening, shoulder and hip strengthening. This class also provides some novel back bends and back body stretches. (Expires 12/6/2020)
  • Eagle Chair Vinyasa Flow – This gentle beginner level class explores Eagle pose. Eagle pose is great for opening through the shoulders and the outsides of the hips. This sequence breaks Eagle into its parts standing and seating in the chair. The class culminates in a seated Cow’s Face pose seated in the chair and using a strap to make a hand to hand connection. This class explores some novel forward folds with Eagle and Cow’s Face pose arms. (Expires 12/8/2020)
  • Gentle Butterfly Flow – Back by popular demand this class explores multiple variations of Butterfly pose and great class if your hips are feeling stiff. Have your blocks with you for this class. This sequence uses the blocks to vary the stretch and opening in Butterfly by sitting on the blocks and the elevating the feet on the blocks. It’s interesting to feel how this small modification varies the stretch. The standing postures in this class provide more hip opening and important strengthening work. (Expires 12/10/20)

Vinyasa Flow:

  • Wild Thing Vinyasa Flow – This intermediate to advanced level flow works on creating length and opening through the front body by moving the opposite hand and foot away from each other. This flow explores these “contralateral extensions” standing on a block, with plank pedals, in Fallen and Revolved Triangle and Wild Thing (also known as Flip the Dog). This flow also includes lots of planks and crunches that build heat and strength in the body. (Expires 12/7/2020)
  • Advanced Developmental Pyramid Flow – Do you love Pyramid pose or have tight hamstrings? If so, this is a great class for you. This class explores Pyramid posture supine, side lying and standing. This flow offers novel ways to come into Pyramid pose from a standing posture and coming up from the floor. This class also offers balance and strength challenges. (Expires 12/9/2020)

“Our organization, Jumpstart for Young Children, was fortunate enough to have Jessica provide a session for our staff that helped us understand the benefits of taking a break during the work day, and then led us through a series of stretches we could do around our desks (in our home offices). It was perfectly fitting for our group, and accessible for everyone in the organization. I would recommend her classes for any business looking to help support their staff and invest in the health and well being of their employees.” – JT

I work for a local healthcare company on the administrative side. We have transitioned to doing a lot of our work virtually, which has actually made me feel much more sedentary. I don’t have to walk to meetings anymore and I start to feel restless after sitting at my desk all day. Jessie started doing chair yoga, or “choga” as we call it, a few months ago and our team loves it! We have people of all fitness levels in our department and we have all found Jessie’s classes to be accessible and helpful. She is great at introducing poses that can be altered to your fitness level and using readily available props, and being able to quickly have a Zoom meeting with our team working partially at home and partially in the office is phenomenal. We love our Choga time with Yoga Next Door!” – MS
